Obviously, I’ve always understood that the numbers don’t bode well for high school athletes attempting to break into collegiate or professional sports. But NOTHING quite captures that painful dream-crushing reality quite like the following chart. . . The second to last row is particularly depressing (although I admit the baseball discrepancy is quite interesting).
