Inspiring Miles Davis Documentary – Complete 90 Minute Video

The below documentary chronicles the life, work and musical theories of jazz great (and personal favorite), Miles Davis. Although the focus here is primarily on Davis’ now legendary performance at the British Isle of Wight Festival on August 29, 1970, it includes extensive commentary both from Davis’ contemporaries and numerous other musicians for whom Davis’ creations have served (and continue to serve) as a constant inspiration well-beyond the world of jazz.

Previously, there have been short clips from the film available online, but this is first time I’ve ever found it presented in its entirety (and in the public domain). While there do not appear to be any copyright issues here, I will be sure to remove the link if I’m mistaken about that status. In the mean time, sit back, chill out and enjoy some genuinely awesome sounds…
